MAURIN The origin is Tuscany and the spread also concerns some other regions of the Center. It is a variety used in the field for the optimal pollination of many others which, otherwise, would not bear fruit. The resulting oil is basically sweet and very fragrant with hints of sage, mint and rosemary. The bitters are practically absent or very low and the finish is sharp, discreet and not very persistent.
